A demon arose from the searing smoke
of the sorry eternal dreamless bloke,
who sat on a throne and dreamed no more,
till the day that death felt no remorse..

The demon ruled this far away kingdom,
and took away all the sleep and freedom,
the men too grew dreamless, in its captivity,
and this lead to the death of creativity..

Until the day came when the sun finally set,
a knight in gold armor the Black demon met,
he could not see what the knight’s dreams meant,
for he was but a small little kid the Sandman sent..”

Everyone waits.

Some wait for their life to arrive on a silver platter.
Some wait for the lost to return.
Some wait for the cow to jump over the moon so they may run away with the spoon.
Some wait for the night to fall so they may come out of the closet and from under the bed.
Some wait for the train to come and take them to a far-away place called home.
Some wait for the curtain to rise.
Some wait for the snow to fall.
Some wait for the sun to set. Some wait for the sun to set.
